Gaijin Gyaru Awards 2012

So, it's finally here....... it took like 19 hours to upload! >_<

I'm happy it's over!

By the way, when I was filming my part my face was all weird and I put way too much blusher on to hide it. So please just ignore my face! I tried to make the clips with me in as far away as possible so you didn't have to look at me too much! Hahahaha

AAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!

The other day (I can't even figure out how many days ago it was because my brain is soooooo ..... blah).......... anyway, the other day I filmed my part for the Gaijin Gyaru Awards. After doing that, I spend like 24 hours straight editing!!!!! I actually turned into a computer. I worked out that I memorised over 1000 numbers........ I tried to explain but it made this post even longer, so I screen-capped it for if anyone does actually want to read it!:

I looked even worse than usual, if you can't tell from the photos - you will definitely be able to tell in the video!

But I'm not filming it again, I always film things like 5 times!

It was sooooooo warm >_< My makeup kept coming off!

Also, my face was so weird and I put too much blusher on so I look like I have a beard haha

Ah well, you all know that nothing ever goes right when I do it! Haha

I just know there's going to be the usual 50 people who feel the need to comment on the video saying "you look disgusting" etc - as if I didn't already know! >_<

*sigh*

Talking about things never working for me, here's a funny story:

After my 24 hours of editing, I went to sleep for 4 or 5 hours then edited for another day and tried to export it (I don't know what day in the story this is anymore, it's all one big blur) To export it takes 9 HOURS! When there were 5 hours left I had to go somewhere, so I took the laptop with me on the hour-long car journey. The battery ran out 5 minutes before we arrived!

When we got there I ran in and plugged the laptop in. Luckily, it continued exporting, somehow.

After the 9 hours, I looked at the exported video to find the audio was messed up AND THERE WAS A MASSIVE WATERMARK OVER THE VIDEO!!

So..... I adjusted the audio and Neton helped me find a solution to the watermark problem.... apparently I was using 'Flip4mac' to export WMV files that people had sent in. Anyway..... I think that was last night...... After he'd finally done that, I started to export again then went to sleep.

I woke up this morning to see 'general error'. No explanation, just 'general error'. So I started the exporting again. 9 hours.

When there were 3 hours left, it quit saying 'general error' again. Apparently my hd memory was too full >_<

So I deleted a ton of stuff, including upcoming videos I was going to upload to Youtube. Like a haircare video, 5 nail tutorials, a DIY makeup storage and a "4-looks-in-1" makeup video that I filmed like 3 months ago.

I wasn't bothered about the makeup tutorial, because this is what it ended up looking like:

It was supposed to be 5 looks in one (Natural, Popteen, Egg, Banba and Manba) but I gave up at banba! They merged into each other.

I never liked the Popteen look, and I definitely can't pull it off! 

But still, I've sacrificed a lot for these awards haha

So I set it to export again and there's currently 6 hours left:

I was sticking up my middle finger at the screen while I took this.

So yeah, I was hoping to upload the awards like 3 days ago, but now I'm hoping tomorrow or the day after...... I'm reeeealllly hoping. I just know something else is going to go wrong.

It's funny because someone said to me "I would have thrown it out the window by now" and that's when I realised........ I'm sooooo used to stuff like this now, I just expect it to happen. I would have been shocked if it hadn't!

OOTD, doll mask, purchases and Yorkshire Dales

So I had to disguise myself for filming a section of the GGA (you'll find out why when you watch it!) I decided to just wear a white mask but glammed it up a little with some pink lips and eyelashes haha:

Neton said it looked really creepy, and we could use it in a short-horror film >_<

I said I think it looks pretty and I wish my face looked like that!

Also, I've been asked to do 'OOTD' (outfit of the day) by a lot of people. I've never done them before because.......... well, no one usually likes my dress sense! Hahahahaha 

I always wear layers, and people always ask me why. I've just always done that, I know that's not a real reason because people can change....... I guess I'm just weird! Haha

Which is a shame because I love dresses but I can only wear long ones or trousers under them! =/

Purple Hag-witch Picnic!

"I'm melting, I'm melting!"........ I seriously was though, it was soooo warm today! We had to walk up a massive hill back home too. We're not used to this weather in the UK haha

Today was my first time wearing my new purple wig, I really love it! When I was just looking through the photos a few minutes ago, I realised it's a similar purple to Rarity's hair! (My Little Pony) 

I did my makeup with yellow and pink for a summery look! Also purple eyebrows to match my hair!

The sun was soooooooo bright!:

Oh and if you're wondering about the title of this entry....... looking at the photos now, I just think I looked like some sort of hag or witch today hahahaha >_< Oh well! At least I like how Hags and witches look! 

Oh, remember my pink, fluffy mirror I got for £1 at the carboot on Sunday? I love it so much, I took it with me! Hahahaha:

Haha not really, I took it because I was filming a small part for the GGA and needed it to check my makeup and hair before filming. I didn't end up using it for that though! It was so warm, I just wanted to get the filming over with before my makeup fell off! >_<

I went pale today, I used layers of BB Cream and concealor. I don't know why I felt like been pale - I never feel like been pale! That feeling has gone now though! Hahahaha

I did an extended eye-shape today. I want to extend my eyelashes even more though - I might make some even longer ones and see how that goes!

I really love purple now!

I was actually raised as a child wearing only purple clothes - I'm shocked I've never hated the colour since I was always wearing it! Hahaha

But I just realised how much I love the colour!

Now for answering a couple of Tumblr questions:

Q: What does 96GAL mean?

A: I'm not actually sure. I think it means 'Tanned/dark skin Gyaru'. My only guess is that it's '96' because 1996 was about when Gyaru fashion was born, and it was born tanned! So maybe '96' is a reference to the dark skin of the first generation of Gyaru? That's only a guess though, I would love if anyone could tell me if it's true or not!

Q: Why don't you consider yourself a woman? Are you transgender?

A: I'm not sure what 'transgender' is but I don't really know why I don't consider myself a woman! I just don't see myself as any gender - I know I'm female, and live as one! I wouldn't want to be a man, no way! If I was I would be a drag queen for sure haha....... I'm just a....... thing........ a person, I guess! Hm..... it seems I can't really answer this question, sorry!
